I have decided to try my hand at writing a novella, approximately 18,000 words minimum. This is mostly due to the fact that I am very broke. I've put a lot of novels I know I will not be reading in the near future, or at all, on Amazon, as well as a couple of out-of-print anime DVDs. I'm going to be putting more up in the next couple of days, along with a few old video games I know I won't be playing amongst other things I can find to sell.

Regardless, if I can finish this novella before the deadline, of which is September first of this year, I might be able to sell it to an online publisher I adore, finally manage to be a published writer, and get a bit of money since I can't seem to find a job.

Now, the reason for my telling the lot of you this, aside from updating my journal since I haven't managed to do that since December of 2010 and it's already June of 2011, is because I need a bit of help with the pairing I have to write about for Amber Allure, the publishing company. The series they are taking submissions for is called Hot College Daze, and yes it is a publisher based in romance. This means that so long as the novella takes place on a college campus, it counts.

My problem is this: I have no idea what kind of pairing to do. The only thing I do know is that I don't want to be cliche and do TeacherxStudent or roommates or JockxNerd or whatnot. With all of that said, what two people do the lot of you think I should put together for this college romance? It would help if I could figure this out quickly so that I can get started and have a good chance of finishing on time.

For the Hell of it, if the lot of you wish while you give me ideas, you may even give me plot lines you think the two character types you give me could be put into.
